I love exploring the mind, the depths of the human experience and psyche, and those things that have a timelessness due to the universal nature of the human condition throughout history.
The overarching theme is texture, the search for truth and wisdom, my own faith, the value of images to produce words and dialogue, and a certain aesthetic that flows through most of my work. My worldview has been forged, as with all of us, through blessing and heartache, and I long to share what I have learned, and what I am still learning, with those who have the same desire. I’m exploring the heights and depths of humanity, of spiritual truth, and emotion without resorting to emotionalism. I’m attempting to bridge a chasm between what people see with their eyes and what they feel in their souls. I’m challenging myself to grow with each new piece, both in my ability and craftsmanship, and in my own personal life.
